Your First Day

There are a few important reminders before the first session of class:

This is a true immersion program. All instruction is in Spanish. Everything said is reinforced with visual representation, so your child is able to understand. It is amazing how quickly they will become accustomed to the language, and understand it!

We will be playing lotería (bingo), and other games to review our essential vocabulary. The children can win Spanish candy and it is important that we know if there are any allergies. We will always instruct the children to save their candy until they get home.

For morning classes, students will go directly to their lines outside for the start of the school day. For afternoon classes, arrange with your child where (at the school) you will be picking them up.

Attendance will be taken at every class session. If your child is absent, we will try to catch them up at the next class meeting. It is important that they arrive on time, as we will do our Spanish calendar the first 5 minutes of class.
